World Shopper has been launching innovative social-media content since 2009, like "TestMyCar", "Social TestDrive" and "Social RoadTrips".
The idea behind these concepts is always to create relationship with the public, soft-selling new cars and new technologies through stories published on social-media.
One of the most famous concept is the "RoadTrip". These brand and product activation sessions are typically based on an European RoadTrip, published in real-time in Social-Media. The itinerary and the theme of each program is always different. In some cases we visited car museums, drove in race-tracks or established records. We have used petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric cars. At the moment, World Shopper Social Media Team has performed more than 20 different RoadTrips and the concept will increasingly explore new technologies.
Since 2017 these long distance travels are also being used to gather information for the "2025 Automotive 360º Vision", the World Shopper study about the future of automotive.
